- Considerations for Indigenous representation in collections
- Digital curation and preservation
- Oral history interviewing
- Do-it-yourself conservation
- Records management
- Reparative archival description
- Breaking into the archives profession as a recent graduate
- Privacy concerns in archives
- Working with architectural plans
- Volunteers in museums
- Past Perfect training
- Care and management of film and/or photo negatives
Presentations Structure:
Roundtables will be a total of 60 to 90 minutes long with multiple presenters speaking for 15 to 30 minutes and will include 15 minutes for Q&A at the end of the session for all the presenters. We encourage collaborative presentations representing multiple organizations.
Presentations may center around completed or ongoing work, sharing objectives and outcomes that attendees can learn from and then apply to their own archival work through gained practical and theoretical knowledge.
Workshops Structure:
Workshops will be a total of 60 to 90 minutes to teach and showcase skills and knowledge that attendees may be able to apply to their own archival work. These sessions may feature a presentation along with a hands-on/interactive component.
Oklahoma Department of Libraries Sponsorship:
All presenters and the first 15 registrants for the Rountables and Workshops will receive a year of OAA Membership sponsored by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
