Experience creating, manipulating, migrating, and transforming metadata. Ability to assess new technology and data manipulation tools and use them to improve library services. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills. Effective time management skills.

Desired Qualifications: Experience working with digital repository systems, digital asset management systems, and/or related systems. Experience with online catalogs, discovery layers, and cataloging tools. Experience working with controlled vocabularies and identity management. Experience with linked data, semantic web applications, ontologies, and RDF. Experience working with archival and/or born-digital collections. Experience supervising student employees.

Each organization has a unique culture. New or soon to be graduates are encouraged to apply.

The salary is a minimum $55,000 annually for an 11-month appointment with a generous holiday schedule, health care plans, and retirement options. As a new library faculty member, you will receive start-up funding for research and/or professional travel and have access to the Library’s grant writer and development team as well as a full communication team.

Deadline: Application review begins November 15, 2022, and continues until position is filled.
