The OAA welcomes all archives, libraries, special collections, and collectors to join us in making the second Oklahoma Archives Bazaar a success.
Take advantage of this free opportunity to engage with the public and introduce more people to your collections. Additionally, it’s a great opportunity to mingle with members of the archival/special collections community from all over the state.

The Oklahoma Archivists Association invites you to staff a free booth at the 2019 Oklahoma Archives Bazaar!
Are you interested in promoting your collections to the wider public? Then the Oklahoma Archives Bazaar is for you! We are looking for participating archives, museums, libraries, or historical organizations across Oklahoma to staff a free booth at the event and advertise our state’s wide array of historical collections and resources.
WHAT: 2019 Oklahoma Archives Bazaar
WHEN: Saturday, October 26, 2019—12 to 4 PM. (Set up begins at 11 and tear down is from 4-4:30).
WHERE: Friends Room, Downtown Library (Metropolitan Library System), 300 Park Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73102
SUGGESTIONS: Bring facsimiles for viewing, swag that the public can take, and/or a quick info sheet on the resources at your institution.
OTHER: We will have access to public Wi-Fi, power outlets, and a shared kitchen space to store lunch or snacks for yourself. More information on parking and unloading will be available soon. Workshops and family-friendly activities will also be taking place during the Bazaar.

If you sign up, OAA will be asking institutions for photos of their repositories or from their collections if they would like to be included in the slide-show that will be running during the event. OAA is also looking for donations for door prizes at the event. If your institution has any swag, posters, books, DVDs, etc. to donate for a door prize, please let the organizer know.
