Grant Opportunities for Archival Collections

Grant Opportunities for Archival Collections

The Oklahoma Historical Records Advisory Board is pleased to announce two grant opportunities for Oklahoma libraries, archives and museums that care for historical records collections.

The Oklahoma Collections Assessment Plans Program provides support for small organizations, with annual budgets under $100,000, to receive the services of a professional consultant who will work with the organization to develop a written collection assessment plan.

The Improving Access to Collections Grant Program is designed to offer support for organizations that wish to improve online access to their significant archival collections by providing digital access to finding aids or individual collection items.

Funding for these grant opportunities is provided by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.

Grant applications must be received by August 30, 2019.
